Extra Credit
Earn extra credit by visiting art museums and galleries outside of class. In order to get credit for this assignment, students must provide proof of their visit (ticket stub or a picture), and do one of the following assignments.
Here are some links to some places where you can see art for free, or for a small admission fee!
Seattle Art Museum: Free first Thursdays of each month. Normal admission is $12.50
Frye Art Gallery: Admission and parking are always free
Seattle Asian Art Museum: $5 with your student ID
Henry Art Gallery at UW Campus: Check the website for more specific information
The EMP: This museum's primary focus is music, but also contains great exhibits of visual art
Bellevue Arts Museum: Free first Fridays of each month. Normal admission is $7
Cascadia Art Museum: Free on the third Thursday of each month
Edmonds Art Walk: Free art in the streets of downtown Edmonds
